Ingredients

Base

230g Raw Cashews (soaked in hot water for 1 hour, 1.5 cups)
4 Tbsp Lemon Juice
120ml Coconut Cream (1/2 cup)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp garlic powder or 2 Cloves fresh garlic
1/2 tsp Dried basil or dill (Optional)
2-4 tbsp nutritional yeast (according to taste)

Rich, buttery creamy cheese spread made from the simplest wholefood ingredients. So delicious served on rye crackers, toasted bagels, crudités and topped with fresh herbs.

METHOD

  • Soak cashews in boiling water for 1 hour
  • Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor
  • Serve with rye crackers, toasted bagels and top with fresh basil
