230g | Raw Cashews (soaked in hot water for 1 hour, 1.5 cups) |
4 | Tbsp Lemon Juice |
120ml | Coconut Cream (1/2 cup) |
1 | tsp Salt |
1 | tsp garlic powder or 2 Cloves fresh garlic |
1/2 | tsp Dried basil or dill (Optional) |
2-4 | tbsp nutritional yeast (according to taste) |
Rich, buttery creamy cheese spread made from the simplest wholefood ingredients. So delicious served on rye crackers, toasted bagels, crudités and topped with fresh herbs.
METHOD
- Soak cashews in boiling water for 1 hour
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender or food processor
- Serve with rye crackers, toasted bagels and top with fresh basil
