INGREDIENTS
BASE
110g | oat flour |
30g | agave syrup |
30g | coconut oil |
CARAMEL
120g | dates (pitted) |
75g | date syrup or agave/maple |
CHOCOLATE
50g | chocolate |
2 | tsp coconut oil |
MILLIONAIRES SHORTBREAD
METHOD
- Melt the coconut oil and combine the base ingredients until a dough forms
- Press the dough into a baking tray or tin and place in the freezer whilst you make the caramel
- Blend the caramel ingredients in a food processor until smooth and spread over the base, then freeze whilst you make the chocolate layer
- Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a bain marie and pour over the caramel layer
- Phrase for 30 minutes until solidified and then decorate with toppings of your choice
- Shortbread to defrost before serving and this will prevent your chocolate from cracking at the top. To make this even better i dunked these in nut butter😂
